CNET Covers New gTLDS


CNET is covering the domain name industry and its new gTLDs this morning with its story entitled 2014 Welcomes the Net’s New Names: .beer, .farm, .nyc and much more

Its reported that new web and email address options exploded this year with 469 new top-level domain names. Next year, Google, Aaazon and 10 others will bid for rights to oversee .app

In 2014, people registered about 3.6 million domains using hundreds of new addresses like .berlin, .pizza and .florist.
